Question of Inquiry
A question, ... or an aim, a focus, a problem, or a hypothesis must be posed for the inquiry. Questions can be organised by identifying higher order meta- questions for an entire program of research, down to details of sub- questions for particular aspects, particular categories, or specific details of topics.
Questions and topics chosen must be:
. To move knowledge forward, and not 're-invent the wheel', it is necessary that research topics should be developed out of an awareness of previous work and theories by other researchers.
Arousing. The most essential quality to the researcher, is that topics being researched arouse their motivation, interest, curiosity and excitement.
Researchable. Topics and questions must have the realistic potential of being answered or at least significantly contributed to, within the time frame & practical resources available.
